Ed Quigley with Lad, TD

Dog B.O.N.E.S. Therapy Dogs of Massachusetts lost one of its very best on August 22, 2013.
Ed and his therapy dog Lad, and after Lad’s passing, Buddy brought much joy to those they visited over Ed’s ten years as a therapy dog team member.
Ed would often say that it was his ministry to bring unconditional love to those that needed it most.
He will be missed by all those he touched.

You were my first baby. You made me smile every day and taught me to take time to smell the roses. We grew up together through a crazy eight years, and sometimes you were the only thing that kept me going. Always, you were there, sprawled upside down on the couch, waiting joyously at the door when I returned home, sprinting like a beautiful wild thing with a look of pure happiness on your face. Everyone who knew you loved you. It was all I could have asked for, to be owned by you. I will remember you and miss you, always.

Speedy
was a really caring, gentle Therapy Dog, especially with children. Every
Tuesday we visited Seven Hills Children's Center in Groton, Ma. He was
always so gentle and kind with the kids, climbing on chairs so he could
get closer to them. We used to lay his ears across their trays so they
could pet his soft ears.
